Always On My Mind

Mark 12:28-31
Truth is confirmed is our spirits
Soul is convicted and mush choose either to accept the truth or reject it
Holy Spirit does the work of sanctification: The Holy Spirit wants to sanctify your mind
We love God with ALL our minds
What does ALL mean? Whole, Completely
Love is about surrender and sacrifice

Phillipians 4:7
1-Willing Mind (1 Chronicles 28:9)
2-Humbleness of Mind (Colossians 3:12)
3-Spiritually Minded (Romans 8:1-7)
Carnal minds have no desire for spiritual things
The Holy Spirit transforms our minds

Romans 12:1-2
Our minds are renewed from old to new

Ephesians 4:22-24
We can’t be double minded

James 1:8
Jesus can give us a sound mind

2 Timothy 1:7
There are 3 areas in our mind
1-Perception-Lens through which we see everything (the world or others see us/how we see ourselves)
A. Thoughts and Attitude (Colossians 3:8-11)
B. See the way God sees (2 Corinthians 5:7)
C. Be honest, be willing to learn (John 4:13-24, Acts 10:34)
2-Focus-When you change your perception, then you focus on the right things (Isaiah 26:3-4)
A. Focus can change our circumstances (Ruth 1:16-18)
B. Jesus stayed focused (Luke 9:51)
C. Miracles are a result of being focused on the right things (Acts 2:42-43)
D. Focus brings healing (Acts 14:9-10)
E. Focus brings growth (1 Corinthians 15:58)
F. Focus brings the Glory of God (Acts 7:55)
3-Understanding
A. All wisdom comes from God (James 1:5, Proverbs 4:5-7 and 14:33, Luke 24:45, John 14:26 and 16:12-14, Psalms 119:130, 144, 169, 2nd Corinthians 10:5, Isaiah 55:6-11, Ephesians 3:17-20)
